Princeton Road Project - Liberty Fairfield & Ohio 747

The Butler County Engineer's Office reports that Princeton Road will close for approximately 10 weeks on Monday, April 1, 2019 between Liberty-Fairfield Road and Ohio 747 for roadway improvements. The roadway project began with Phase 1 in August 2018.

Phase 1: Jayfield Drive to Liberty Fairfield Road. Closed: August 2018. Opened: November 2018. Nearly completed.
Phase 2: Liberty Fairfield Road to Ohio 747. Revised start date: April 1, 2019. Estimated completion: Mid-June. 
Phase 2 detour: Eastbound Princeton Road traffic will detour south on Bypass 4. east on Ohio 129 and north on Ohio 747 to Princeton. Westbound traffic will reverse this route. 

During these phases Princeton Road will be closed to thru and commuter traffic; however, local access will be maintained for residents of Princeton Road within the construction zone, as well as for side streets. Residents of adjoining subdivisions, however, are advised to utilized alternate access into and out of their subdivisions to minimize as much as possible the amount of traffic within the Princeton Road construction zone.
