The Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio is the state-designated Area Agency on Aging for Southwestern Ohio, which includes Butler County. We are a non-profit agency serving the elderly and their caregivers in Butler County with free or low cost services that help seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes as long as possible (in-home care, meals on wheels, home repairs, emergency notification devices, etc.). In 2006, we served more than 3,300 older adults in Butler County through the Elderly Services Program, an in-home care program supported by a local tax levy.
