LIBERTY TOWNSHIP PARKS

1 - Dudley Memorial, Est. 1990, 11.4 acres
A family use park on the east side of Yankee Road, north or Millikin Road. Amenities include a shelter, mulched playground with a stegosaurus, picnic tables with charcoal grills, wooded hiking trails, fishing, bird blind, and a large mowed lawn.
2 - Liberty Park, Est. 1995, 16.5 acres
Located on the west side of Yankee Road behind the Lakota Family YMCA, this park has almost one mile of paved path around and through the park. Primary use of the park is for soccer matches by the community youth. Also, each year the Township holds an Easter Egg Hunt, our Fourth of July Celebration, and our Fall Festival at the park.
3 - Reserves Park, Est. 1997, 8.6 acres
This park can be found in the Reserves of Liberty subdivision. Located on the north side of the Michael A. Fox Highway and east of SR747, this family use park has almost one mile of hard surface paths, a soft-surface playground with specific equipment for individuals with disabilities, a large picnic shelter, and a beautiful reflecting pond.
4 - Fort Liberty Playland, Est. 2000, 7.5 acres
Located on Van Gorden Road, north of the Michael A. Fox Highway, this 7.5 acre park is home to a child's dream come true. A state-of-the-art playground was erected in 1999 with the help of Friends of Liberty Parks and Recreation and from community contributions. In 2003, FLPR also donated money for the 30'x50' shelter.
5 - Wetlands Park, Est. 2000, 42 acres
Donated by the TID, this park abuts the Michael A. Fox Highway and runs from Van Gorden Road to east of Lesourdsville-West Chester Road. Natural beauty abounds along the paved and chipped trails of this park. Four unique ponds offer wildlife a variety of habitats. This park is home to the Township's Veteran Memorial.
6 - Dudley Woods, Est. 1999, 63 acres
This park is located on Hankins Road and is managed by the Butler County Metroparks. A loop trail is an easy to moderate one mile hike following Gregory Creek to the back of the property, then returning through a mature woodlot. Shelter and restrooms are available.
7 - Mill Creek Preserve, Est. 2000, 13 acres
Bordering the south side of the Michael A. Fox Highway, west of SR 747, this park will be left as a natural area.
8 - Cherokee Park, Est. 2002, 30.5 acres
Located off of Lesourdesville-West Chester Road in the Cherokee Estates subdivision, this park has off street parking and a large pond for fishing. Hiking trails along Gregory Creek are planned for the future.
9 - Allen Park, Est. 2003, 26 acres
Plans for this park are in the development stages. Located on Kyles Station Road at the entrance to the Allen Estates subdivision.
10 - Wilhelmina Property, Est. 2002, 54.5 acres
The Township purchased 45 acres and 9.5 acres were donated for this future park.
11 - Maud Hughes Incline, Est. 2003, 3210 feet
Phase IV of the Liberty Township Trails, this area can be utilized from the parking lot on Maud Hughes Road. This 3210 foor section of the hike and bike trail derives its name from the unique use of bicycle stairs to transition from the Gregory Creek flood plain to the upper area parallel to the Michael A. Fox Highway.
