Liberty Park, established in 1995, 16.5 acres
6757 Yankee Road
A park on the west side of Yankee Road behind the Lakota Family YMCA, Liberty Park's land was donated to the township by Greg Amend and Carlos Todd.
These 16.6 acres contain 2.2 acres of natural land, with almost 1 mile of paved path around and through the park (4290 ft.). Of this path, the outer circle around the soccer fields is a half mile and is marked with concrete markers every tenth of a mile. The park also has two (2) picnic shelters and two separate playlands.
In conjunction with LSO (Lakota Sports Organization) the primary use of the park is for soccer matches by the community's youth.
Liberty Park is also home to the annual 4th of July Festival and the termination point of the annual 4th of July Parade.
Each spring the township holds an Easter Egg Hunt at Liberty Park.
