Interstate Highway System
Liberty Township straddles Interstate 75, 20 miles north of Cincinnati and 25 miles south of Dayton. I-275 is six miles south and provides access to I-71 and I-74. The Michael A. Fox Highway (State Route 129) runs east-west through the entire Township providing direct access to I-75.
Ohio State Route 4 between Hamilton and Middletown passes through the Township's northwestern border. Both highways serve designated business areas in the southeast and northwest corners of the Township.
COMING SOON...The Liberty Interchange will be the extension of the Michael A. Fox Highway (SR 129) from its terminus at Interstate 75 eastward. The project also involves extending Cox Road from Hamilton-Mason Road northward. The new interchange will provide greater access for Liberty Township businesses and residents. Air Transportation
Liberty Township is strategically located between two international airports - the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and the Dayton International Airport - and two regional airports - Butler County Regional Airport and Middletown's Hook Field.
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
With more than 450 daily flights, CVG offers nonstop service to 120 cities--nearly three times the number of destinations served by the five surrounding airports combined. The airport is the second largest hub for Delta Airlines and is serviced by an additional 12 airlines. Delta has continued to strengthen its international network at CVG with flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome. In the Midwest, only airports in Chicago and Detroit offer more service to Europe. The opening of a third north-south runway has placed CVG among the most efficient airports in the world. Travelers worldwide have rated CVG one of the best airports for service and convenience 10 years running.
Dayton International Airport (DAY)
The Dayton International Airport has three runways and is ranked in the top 10 in the country and top 15 in the world as a cargo airport. With regards to passengers, it ranks in the top 50 U.S. and the top 100 worldwide. Ideally located for serving both air and over-ground markets, Dayton International plans to expand it's already outstanding capabilities as a cargo airport while continuing to provide passengers with unmatched convenience and accessibility.
Butler County Regional Airport (HAO)
The Butler County Regional Airport is located in south central Butler County, Ohio. The Airport serves as a vital link between the Butler County business community and their principal destinations including Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis and Pittsburgh. The airport offers high quality facilities, including a 5500x100' runway with a full length parallel taxiway, an ample number of T-hangars, executive hangars with the capability for overnight storage, a Localizer/DME, NDB, and GPS approach, and an on-site weather station (ASOS).
Middletown Municipal Airport Hook Fied (MWO)
Middletown's Hook Field Airport is located between Dayton and Cincinnati enabling it to serve the needs of companies in both metropolitan areas and all points in between. Hook Field Airport's strategic location within Butler County makes it possible to reach most North American destinations quickly and efficiently. With 6100 feet of runway, a localizer and GPS Approaches between Cincinnati and Dayton, Hook Field Airport can be used by most types of aircraft.
Warren County Airport
The Warren County Airport, located three miles northeast of Lebanon, is a public airport owned and operated by the Warren County Airport Authority. There is one north-south runway 4203' x 65' asphalt paved with lighting for night operation. The goal of the Warren County Airport is to provide a safe and friendly environment within the community, while striving to meet the aviation needs of both private and corporate customers.
Rail Transportation
Liberty Township is serviced by two railroads: CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.

Water and Sewer
Butler County Department of Environmental Services provides safe, reliable services to Butler County — one of the fastest growing counties in Ohio. BCDES offers water and wastewater service to a growing population of more than 100,000 in Liberty, West Chester, Fairfield, Hanover, Lemon and Ross townships, the city of Monroe and the village of New Miami. BCDES's Solid Waste Management District is responsible for making recycling and waste reduction options available to all Butler County residents.
