Mrs. Quinlisk was appointed by the Liberty Township Board of Trustees to serve as Fiscal Officer.  She fills the vacancy left by Roger Reynolds when he was appointed the Butler County Auditor.

Christine Matacic
Vice President

.
Christine Matacic was re-elected to a second term as Trustee in November, 2005. She served as the President of the Board from 2003 through 2007t.  Her involvement in the community includes serving on the following Boards of Directors: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI), President; Butler County Regional Transit Authority; West Chester Chamber Alliance, Secretary; and Timber Hill Restoration Coalition.

 

Christine vision for Liberty Township includes:

 

·         Diversify our tax base with additional commercial development in our established corridors.

·         Plan and improve our roads and infrastructure.

·         Establish Liberty Township as a Limited Home Rule Township.

·         Work with the USPS to establish a zip code for Liberty Township.

·         Continue to develop diversified parks and hike / bike trails.

·         Maintain and improve Police, Fire, and EMS protection to keep up with the growth.

·         Continue to balance our budget while maintaining appropriate reserves.

·         Work with county, state, and federal government officials to insure responsible and positive legislation for our future.


Christine and her husband, John, have two daughters, Catherine and Janice and have lived in Liberty Township since 1981.

Dina Minneci
Township Administrator

The Board of Trustees appointed Dina C. Minneci to the position of Township Administrator on July 21, 2004.  Prior to coming to Liberty Township, Dina was the Finance Director for the City of Wyoming for five years and the Tax Administrator for the City of Fairfield for almost four years.  During those years, Dina served as the Vice Chairman of the Cincinnati chapter of the Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA), Vice President of the Southwestern Tax Administrators' Association (SWOTAA), and was chosen to be on the State of Ohio Auditor's Southwest Ohio Advisory Committee. 

Dina grew up in Englewood, Ohio (northwest of Dayton) and received her Bacherlor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Dayton and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Cincinnati.  Dina and her husband, Mike, have lived in the Butler County area for ten years and in Liberty Township for seven years.  They are the proud parents of Charlie and Caitlin.

David Kern
President

David Kern was elected as a Liberty Township Trustee on November 2, 1999.  Being a Trustee is certainly not new for Mr. Kern, he held the position from 1980-1996.  After a three year absence, Mr. Kerns ran again to fill the third seat. 

Mr. Kern is a long time resident of Liberty Township and has owned and operated Kern Nursery on Millikin Road for many years.

He and his wife, Katy, have four children and are very involved in the community.

Patrick Hiltman
Trustee

Pat Hiltman was elected as a Liberty Township Trustee on November 2, 2005.  He serves as the President of the Board.  Prior to becoming President of the Board, he served as the Vice President of the Board from 2006 through 2007. 

Pat's vision for Liberty Township includes:

  • Diversify our tax base by bringing in more commercial development.
  • Establish an Economic Development Department.
  • Use commercial development to help reduce the tax burden on residential property and aid Lakota Local Schools.
  • Develop Zoning regulations that will stimulate responsible growth.
  • Create a positive local identity for Liberty Township.
  • Work to establish a dedicated zip code and post office.
  • Foster Township services that are consumer friendly.
  • Develop community programs that will create self sustaining parks.
  • Work with state and county agencies to improve roads and infrastructure.
  • Continued growth of Police, Fire, and EMS services.
