Dudley Woods, established in 1999, 63 acres 5671 Hankins Road (maintained by MetroParks of Butler County, requires park permit) Liberty Township, OH  45011 Dudley Woods is located on the corner of Hankins Road and LeSourdsville West Chester Road with the entrance on Hankins Road. Dudley Woods opened in 1999. The land was purchased at a reduced price from Jim Dudley with donations from Greg and Sue Amend. This park is managed by MetroParks of Butler County. Primarily used for preserving nature with native wildlife hiking and family activities, this 63 acre park encompasses riparian habitat along Gregory Creek and maturing woods. A loop trail is an easy to moderate one mile hike following the creek to the back of the park, before turning and heading back through the woods. A picnic shelter, grills, and restroom facilities are adjacent to the parking lot. The reconstruction and furnishing of the Gregory Log Cabin (circa. late 1700’s) will enable visitors to experience the early heritage of Liberty Township.
