The Liberty Township Trustees are pleased to announce the promotion of part-time firefighter Andrew “Drew” Parsons to the position of Career Firefighter/Paramedic within the Township’s Fire Department. Parsons has served the Liberty Township community in his part-time role since May 2016. His promotion to a career firefighter/paramedic fills an open position within the department that was vacated earlier this fall.
Parsons, who was born in Albuquerque, NM, comes to the Township with a wide variety of experience. He was in the Air Force for four years as an “in-flight refueling operator,” served in the Pittsburg Air National Guard, and was a career firefighter for the Central Joint Fire District in Clermont County.
“Drew has been an incredible asset since joining the Liberty Township Fire Department last year, and we are excited to welcome him as our newest career member. I look forward to seeing the amazing things he will accomplish over the course of his career with us,” said Ethan Klussman, Liberty Township Fire Chief.
Drew obtained his Firefighter and EMT certificates at the Warren County Career Center and is attending Grantham University to finish his degree in Business Management. Drew lives in Lebanon and is engaged to Chandra Wylds.
