American Red Cross Volunteers Needed!
Butler County Transportation Program The American Red Crosee Butler County office is in critical need of volunteer drivers to assist with their transportation program. The transportation program provides free transportation to medical appointments to individuals living in the cities of Middletown, Monroe, and Trenton and the townships of Lemon and Madison. Clients are people who lack reliable access to alternative sources of transportation. The program is designed to help individuals live independently for as long as possible.
TIME REQUIRED: - 3-4 hours minimum between the hours of 9am and 3pm. - Drivers do not drive daily. - Most volunteers drive one day per week or every other week. - Vehicle is provided by the American Red Cross to transport clients (Chrysler Pacifica).
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR PREREQUISITES: - Must be 21 years of age or older. - Fully qualified and licensed to drive under applicable state and local laws. - Pass a Bureau of Motor Vehicle record check. - Pass a national criminal background check.
