Public Services

In addition to providing a rapid response to fires, vehicular accidents, medical emergencies, the members of the Liberty Township Fire Department pride ourselves on taking part in our community. We have many educational and prevention focused activities and efforts that aim to handle an emergency at the very best time: before it happens. Here are some highlights of these public service programs and some good safety tips / reminders:
  1. Car Seat Safety Checks

    A group of of fire fighters have become specially trained and certified as child safety seat technicians.

  2. CPR / First Aid Classes

  3. Fire Explorer Post 895

    Fire Service Explorer posts help youth gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities.

  4. Juvenile Fire Setters Counseling

    Our Juvenile Fire Setter Intervention Specialist employees are often called upon to evaluate juveniles as a result of court judgment, however the service is provided to all residents as needed.

  5. Knox Box for Emergency Access

    The KNOX-BOX® rapid entry system is a secure emergency access program developed for property owners and fire departments.

  6. The Vial of Life Project

    Vial of Life started many years ago as a way to provide critical medical information to first responders should the patient be unable to provide the information on their own.
